The Deanes School is a school located in Benfleet, Essex.^[1] The school takes its name from an area of forest called The Deanes Wood – so called because it was owned by the Dean of St Paul's Cathedral. The Deanes School is a Specialist Sports College and has over 1100 students.^[2]
